“What’re you laughin’ at?” Tyler cocked a brow at the young man and smirked, “Name’s Tyler. Tyler Durden. I don’t shake hands.”

“Nothin’, I’m just admiring an attractive face…” cam shrugged and returned his hand to his pocket. “No worries, i get that sometimes, doesn’t bother me!” Cam cocks his head to the side curiously. “It’s nice to meet you Tyler, how are you on this lovely evening?”

Cam could not remember feeling so nervous in a long time. He’d spent the night futzing over his clothing and hair, primping and priming himself for the man he knew would be arriving soon. This would be the first official date he’d gone on since his resurrection, and that made him nervous along with the knowledge of who he was going out on a date with. Jesse was on his way, and Cam hoped he was presentable for wherever they were going.

Cam wore a pair of slacks, a tan pair he’d decided to buy so he wouldn’t overwhelm the restaurant with his normally tinted green ones. Of course he wouldn’t eliminate all of his green, as he kept a light green button up on with a dark green t-shirt underneath. He also wasn’t going to take out his various piercings, because while Cam could be courteous, he wasn’t the type to completely censor himself.

Cam ran a hand through his hair and immediately regretted it, so he ran back into the bathroom to fix his ‘messed-up’ hair. Once he was sure it was perfect he went back to his living room to wait, and to pace. 

Jesse had made reservations at the French place just off 34th street. It was both quiet and romantic. Heavy on candlelight and delicate cuisines he figured it was the perfect place to bring a guy like Cam. Jesse knew how to wine and dine. Charm his way through a mediocre meal at some place that was often filled with tourists and college kids whose idea of romance was a place that served things on silver platters. Even if that silver platter was sold at the local mart for 3 dollars.

This was different. Jesse had to show Cam that he was a man worth taking a chance on. Decking himself out in a suit,black slacks and dinner coat,with bowtie and Ecco dress shoes. He took a look in the mirror before heading out. Jesse thought that maybe he was just a tad overdressed but it was always good to be more prepared than not,right?

He hopped in his car and made his way towards Cam house. Making sure to pay careful attention to the directions the man had sent over earlier that day. The ride was quick and uneventful  Pulling up in front of the building that Cam had listed Jesse killed his engine,hopped out and walked up to the front door. With a deep breath he gathered up his courage and knocked. Telling himself to keep it cool

Cam jumped as he heard Jesse knock, and his nervousness bloomed into fruition, making him feel anxious as he rose from the couch. A bark followed as Cam made his way toward the door, and a medium-sized ball of fur darted past his legs. “Zeus! No- down from the door!” Cam shouted at the black and white huskie puppy that was now pawing at the door to meet whoever was waiting on the other side. At Cam’s command Zeus backed off and took a seat a few feet from the door, his tail wagging eagerly as Cam passed him. 

“Hey Jesse…” Cam said and grinned bashfully through the partially opened crack of the door. “So I forgot to mention I have a furry roomie, I hope you don’t mind dogs…” Cam opened the door the entire way to reveal the obediently seated dog, whose tail began to wag ferociously at the sight of the stranger. “Stay…” Cam said in warming as he say the medium-sized pup’s rear started to rise from the tile floor. Zeus returned to the seated position and he waited for Cam’s next command.

“You can pet him if you like, I’m just trying to keep him from jumping… on that amazing looking suit…” Cam blinked as he finally noticed what Jesse was wearing. Instantly he felt under-dressed, and he also noted how perfectly the suit seemed to fit Jesse. He looked fantastic in it, and Cam had to reign himself in from imagining what it’d look like to take it off of him.

She smiled warmly up at him, and leaned up to kiss his cheek. ” I missed you very, very much.”

“I’ve missed you too!” he nodded and smiled at the kiss. “You know that dog you gave me? Zeus? I still have him, he’s gotten bigger since you gave him to me…”

“You can do that!?” Luca asked, grinning wide. “Yeah! That would be so cool! But…wait till I’m done.” He laughed and nodded. He turned back to face the temple at large and whistled. There was an answering bark from the back of the temple and the sound of padded feet running across the stone floor. 
A beautiful burnt sienna, pharaoh hound came bounding toward them; her sharp face focused on Luca and her thin tail held high in greeting. Luca laughed and caught her around the neck and shoulders; patting her side and scratching behind her ears. 
“Cam! This is Kifi, Kifi this is Cam.” He introduced them with a grin as he straightened and Kifi trotted closer to get a curious sniff at Cam, her tail wagging in curious greeting. 

“Okay, I think I can wait…” he grinned and continued to look around until the heard the approaching pad of feet against stone. Then he looked toward the temple and smiled as he saw the approaching hound. 

“Hi Kifi…” Cam smiled as he crouched down and offered his hand to the hound so she could sniff. “You seem very friendly, and so pretty too…” he smiled and once she had a good sniff he reached over to gently pet her narrow head. “I bet you’d get along well with Zeus, he’s a lively puppy, but he’d a good boy…”
